How to block spam appointments

It's not uncommon that you may receive spam appointments on your booking form from bots and other bad actors. This guide will show you how to block spam appointments from being created.

  1. Log into your Start Booking account at
  2. In the top right of the Start Booking application, hover over My Account and select Settings.
  3. On the settings screen, identify and change the Spam Prevention setting and click save. When this setting is enabled, we will check your new appointment customers against a directory of known spammers and bad actors.
