Your time zone is set during the creation of your Start Booking account. This time zone is specific to your account and not per user. This is important because all of your booking times are relative to this time zone.
Time Zone Settings
Your time zone can be found in your location settings. Simply click on your account name at the top right of the screen and click on location from the menu.
It will look like this.
Here is an example of how time zones work.
Our business is located in Utah (GMT-7) which is Mountain Standard Time. For this example, assume we have a customer that visits our booking from from Hawaii (GMT-10). When they select a service, all of the available appointment times will show in their (Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time) time zone.
In this example, our account availability is set to be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In Hawaii that will be translated to 12:00PM to 7:00 PM.
Our customer books an appointment slot at 12:00 PM (noon). Inside the Start Booking app we will see the scheduled appointment set for 9:00 AM.
This feature allows your customers to make appointments from different time zones with out skipping a beat.
